Meaningful Involvement in Bereavement with Individuals with an Intellectual / Developmental Disability

Hedayioglu, Julie (2020) Meaningful Involvement in Bereavement with Individuals with an Intellectual / Developmental Disability. [Data Collection]

Description

A member of the research team (SM) identified willing and available shared living accommodation organisations that had experienced a recent bereavement, and passed on manager details to the lead author (JH) to make contact. JH then arranged a suitable time to come to the accommodation site and speak with willing and available staff. A total of 7 paid staff (support workers, assistant service managers and a service manager) agreed to take part, across two separate organisations in the South East of England. Both organisations had experienced a bereavement of a resident within the last two years
